This is a quick and easy recipe for a raw vegan "cookie" from just three ingredients. Just whip together in the food processor and enjoy! You won't believe how yummy (and easy!) these raw vegan cookies are! Be sure to use raw and living ingredients for these cookies to be truly raw. You can use just about any kind of nuts, as long as they're raw. Raisins would also work well instead of dried figs.
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Total Time: 5 minutes
Ingredients:
- 3/4 cup raw walnuts, cashews or pecans
- 1/4 cup raw, wild-crafted carob powder or cacao powder
- 1 cup soaked dried figs (I prefer calimyra!)
Preparation:
Process all ingredients in a food processor until fine and sticky. Shape into balls and enjoy!
If you can't get the mixture to hold together, add a few more figs and a tablespoon of water.
YOU HAVE A CHOICE!!
You can either eat it straight up, stick 'em in the freezer for a perfect frozen treat, or dehydrate them to make 'em chewy on the inside and crispy on the outside (or crispy all the way)!! If you do dehydrate, be sure not to dehydrate higher than 115 degrees!!
If this is not sweet enough for you, simply add a dab of local, raw honey!~
*Licking lips* Pucker up!~
