You gotta HAVE some!~
As promised, here is the recipe for the cookies!
Have some cookies!~
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Total Time: 5 minutes
Ingredients:
- 3/4 cup raw walnuts, cashews or pecans
- 1/4 cup raw, wild-crafted carob powder or cacao powder
- 1 cup soaked dried figs (I prefer calimyra!)
Process all ingredients in a food processor until fine and sticky. Shape into balls and enjoy!
If you can't get the mixture to hold together, add a few more figs and a tablespoon of water.
YOU HAVE A CHOICE!!
You can either eat it straight up, stick 'em in the freezer for a perfect frozen treat, or dehydrate them to make 'em chewy on the inside and crispy on the outside (or crispy all the way)!! If you do dehydrate, be sure not to dehydrate higher than 115 degrees!!
If this is not sweet enough for you, simply add a dab of local, raw honey!~
*Licking lips* Pucker up!~

I have to admit...
Yep, I have something to admit...
I'm a naughty girl for not keeping up with my blog and I have been hiatus for long enough! What can I say? My life is pretty much a whirlwind and is filled with many different adventures.
Here is what I can fill you up on:
Life is GRAND, so LIVE it!
Hmm... Perhaps I shall share a Raw-Vegan Recipe or two with your. Oh, why the heck not!? Are you ready?! Here we go!
Avo Soup
2 avocados
1/2 bunch cilantro
1 T coconut oil
2-4 T lemon juice (depending on the tartness of lemon juice)
1/4 t. hing
1/8 t. cayenne (more if you want more kick in it!)
2 stalk of celery, diced
Pinch of salt
2 c. vegetable soup (kale, parsley, celery, cucumbers)
Pour fresh green juice in the blender. Add rest of the ingredients and give it a whirl! Taste and adjust the flavors to your liking! *licking lips*
Bloomin' Sun Soup
For those who don't consume carrots (like myself), this is a way to go!
1 c. soaked sun-dried tomatoes
1 c. hemp seeds
1/2 or whole serrano pepper, depending on how much of a bite you can take!
1/2 inch of fresh ginger
2-3 T lemon juice
2 c. chopped tomatoes
1 T olive oil
1 1/2 - 2 c. water (add more water if you prefer less thick soup)
Place all ingredients in the Vitamix or Blendtec and blend well. Place in a serving bowl and add finely chopped tomatoes. Garnish with paprika for color. Now presenting a Bloomin' Sun Soup!
*licking lips*
Do you wish for me to post more recipes? I shall! But you're gonna hafta wait! *cackling! Next posting shall be... COOKIES!
Recently, I made Av-Truffles and the recipe is still in the tweaking mode. Even though it is still being fine-tuned, my sis RAVED about them! *shaking head* Nuh-Huh! I'm not going to tell you just yet! This will be in my book since it received high ranking! *rubbing hands* Oooohhh, the suspense! *cackling*
Time to call it a night. Good night, sweet world and its readers!~
I'm a naughty girl for not keeping up with my blog and I have been hiatus for long enough! What can I say? My life is pretty much a whirlwind and is filled with many different adventures.
Here is what I can fill you up on:
- Today is Day #65 of my 92-Days Juice Feast! Yep, I have beaten two months period and only less than 30 days to beat! I have and still am experiencing great transformations! CHEERS to Green Juices and LIFE!~ I'm loving every minute of it and I'm tempted to continue fore more than 92-Days, but then again, at some times I miss eating and chewing, tasting different flavors of greens, herbs, spices, etc. I miss letting the solids roll in the dwellings called mouth.
- Almost everywhere I turn, I'm hopping on a plane to fly all over... San Francisco, NY, Austin, SF again and again. If I'm not on the plane, I'm on the road! Portland, WA, CA, and more! Heck, I'm flying out again in couple of weeks! Yea!!
- Being an Auntie and nanny to my ever-so-growing niece who is an adorable little monkey!
- Creating and making meals for my sis, whom I'm living with (along with her hubby and their son from hubby's previous marriage. He comes to play with us during the weekends).
- Creating and logging Raw-Vegan Recipes and I am TRYING to push myself to write a book! Thus far, I have done about 7 pages. It is a progress and at least I'm taking steps toward my goal(s).
- Partnering up with Raw Dazzle, creating business cards, selling t-shirts, setting goals and more!
- Supporting our fam-damily in NY while Dad is pitting oneself against cancer. He will undergo a procedure (and thankfully, it is not chemo/radiation!) this upcoming June. He is a GLADIATOR! This little, mean monster is sure to be beaten!
- I could go on and on and on. If I do, this will become a crazy book!
Life is GRAND, so LIVE it!

A new day...~
I love new beginnings! An old year has ended, a new year has begun. An old day has ended, a new day has begun. What a great time to reflect on your life experiences, lessons and journey that you have embarked upon. A time to embrace where you have gone and where you have come to, becoming the person that you are today! Reflect on TODAY, not NEXT YEAR!~

Basic Craks Recipe~
Many of you asked what is the basic raw-vegan craks (I call them craks instead of crackers... Just like when I make nut/seed/coco -short for coconut - mylk, I call it mylk instead of milk... I'm sure you catch my drift! *grins*) recipe. Once you have this recipe squared away, you can let your creative juices flow away and storm up ideas to throw in different, snazzy flavors to jazz it up!
BASIC CRAKERS (I make mine very thin like chips/crisps. When the mood hits, I thicken it up! Sometimes so thick that I could use as a dehydrated bread!)
2 1/2 c Filtered Water
1 1/2 c Golden Flaxseed, grounded
1 c Nuts/Seeds of your choice, soaked 2-4 hours - depending on what kind of nuts, except almonds which I don't include in my recipes for my own personal reasons - (drain & rinse with fresh water after soaking)
1/2 c Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 tbps Himalayan Sea Salt
1/2 tbps Cumin
Combine nuts/seeds, water, olive oil, salt & cumin in high-power blender. Mix throroughly and transfer to bowl. Stir in flaxseed slowly. Scoop about 1 cup of mixture onto Teflex (non-stick sheet for dehydrator) on each of 3 to 4 dehydrator trays and spread out to all corners evenly. Score cracker mixture using a spatula. Dehydrate at 115 degree for 6-8 hours (overnight) then flip the sheet over, peel off the sheet from the crackers and continue to dehydrate until desired crispness is obtained. Store in the refrigerator and consume within 2 weeks.
To JAZZ it up, to SPAZZ it up, and to shake up your soul...
Add blended toms (short for tomatoes), red bell peppers, summer squash, diakon, greens, and/or MORE! Add basil, parsley, cilantro, dill, paprika, oregano... Oh!! My favorite... CAYENNE!!! Oh me, oh my! The spice! The FIRE! The passion! Can you feel it?! ooohhhhhhhhhhhh!
